Fishing at the Pass — and fog is creepy

First of all: I’m starting to see why fog can be kinda creepy. I’m truly not used to that much fog. It seems we’ve seen a lot of REALLY crazy dense mid-day fog recently.

I’ll just blame BP because it’s easiest. Moving on…

Today e and I took the kids fishing. We (and when we say ‘we’ we all know it’s ‘e’, right? I’m along for pictures and giggles… let’s face it!) decided to take them down to Alabama Point at Perdido Pass. It was weird how everything was gorgeous and sunny until the inter-coastal waterway — and then once you crossed over… FOG.

But as we (we=e) set up the wind began to blow and it cleared quickly. Well, for about 30 minutes or so?

This guy caught quite a few mullet in his net during the two hours we were around. Fun to watch him.

Finally, something on the hook!

Er, never mind.

And then… the fog creeped back in along with a big black dog. Wait, wasn’t that a Grim in Harry Potter?

As the fog rolled in TJ stalked one of the big birds that had been stalking us. The stalker becomes the stalked.

Before we could no longer see our hand in front of our face…

*See, we aren’t exaggerating, it was crazy foggy!

we headed out to visit with Don, Susan and the girls at the condo one last time. It was so great to see them this week some. Hate not having them closer.

Boys had a great time fishing even though they didn’t catch a single thing. Better luck next time, boys!
