Happy Easter!

Kids were over with Dad until about 5 today. e and I went to church and then did chores about the house. I made THE Carrot Cake. (Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.) And I even got a nap. I love a good weekend nap, I admit it.

Anyways, kids got home and we had a non-traditional Easter Supper of Pioneer Woman’s Spicy Whiskey BBQ Sliders — but I admit that for the sauce I actually used her spicy tomato sauce from Pioneer Woman’s My Favorite Meatloaf. I tossed some dried smoked peppers in the sauce while it warmed up. We also had a big Spinach Salad. Mmmm.

Non traditional, but super yum.

Kids had fun finding their baskets. Thanks to monster pups we had to hide them creatively this year.
