Kids were up and at ’em early for me. We were on the beach by 8 a.m. Woo!
The water was calm. And clear. And we saw lots of marine life. Enough that no one got in the water. Between stingrays (little ones all over the place and some big), crabs (hundreds) and jellies? Wasn’t going to happen. The boys are usually pretty hard core about getting right in. But not this time. And it was the same all up and down the beach… no one was too keen to cool off when you could see all those stingrays waiting to pop you, crabs to pinch you, and jellies to sting you!
Get it… get it?! 3Ts.
Super cool gift from e. Thanks!
After a few hours we headed to the crazy hot restrooms (TJ said worst bathroom experience on the beach EVER.) See, we went to different public beach than usual so we could go have a treat lunch at The Hangout. At first he was NOT pleased.
But once his burger arrived he decided it was well worth the yucky bathroom showers to be rewarded with the BEST burger ever.
After we ate we played around in the shop and the play area for a while.
TJ and Tommy talked me into letting them bounce for a bit even.
Not a shabby way to bid the Summer good-bye.
