We got up early and arrived at the beach pavilion by 9. Not many people there… and nice and cool still.
After a couple of hours of hard play… that might have involved mom sitting in a chair with a wee little drink. We packed up and hit the showers before a picnic lunch.
Then back to Fairhope for some down time. I got supper ready: Darth Vader Chicken (BBQ chicken for the uninitiated), baked potato salad, baked beans, corn, sliced tomatoes, garlic bread…mmmmmmmmmmm. E and TJ staked out our spots on the bluff for later, then e did the grilling. Thanks e!
Not long after that we headed down to hear the Baldwin County Pops Concert on the Bluff.
Fireworks! (Or as wee little Tori said a long time ago: Fireworkers in the sky!)
Yeh, yeh, not a good shot, but I thought it was neat over the flag — so there.
Then back to the house for sparklers and dessert.
Hope everyone had a fabulous Fourth of July. I know mine had quite a few fireworks in it! And now? SLEEP!
