Yes. TJ is about to pass out cold at the idea.

The Jedi Experience

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center has a rich 25 year history of providing safe, educational and fun child and adult programs. Our camp programs attract campers of all ages from all over the world. So, in conjunction with our hosting of the ‘Star Wars – Where Science Meets Imagination’ exhibit this summer we will offer a Star Wars themed camp called The Jedi Experience.

The Jedi Experience at the USSRC will be a limited run, three day Parent-Child program and a three day Kids program. The camp would run for 11 weekends between June 25 and September 6. Parents of any age would have the opportunity to either join or send a son or daughter between the ages of 7-12 to experience what it might be like to train like a Jedi.

The Jedi Experience’s main focus will be upon the principles and moral codes surrounding the training of a Jedi and an educational look into the scientific, technological, historical and cultural trappings of the Star Wars universe while making real world parallels. All information used in these classes would be strictly recognized cannon of the Star Wars Universe.

Each camper will spend Monday through Wednesday immersed in the world of Star Wars. They will be guided through their training by a Jedi instructor dressed in high-end, replica Jedi robes. All of the camp’s events will take place in various Star Wars themed classrooms and of course the Star Wars traveling exhibit. All attendees will receive a log book, pen, T-shirt, graduation certificate and team photo. Housing and meals are included. There is a 24 hour nursing staff and a 24 hour security staff. Special meals can be accommodated with advance notice.

Examples of activities:

  • Lightsaber Building
  • Lightsaber Training

Yeh. Fundraising has already begun. TJ has $150 ear-marked for the $450 tuition.

So… as TJ’s birthday draws near… more than anything in the WHOLE universe… TJ wants cold hard cash donations to help fund his Jedi Training.

Now you know…
